Hey! I’m Elizabeth Fernandes
I discovered my approach to problem-solving as a child taking apart toys and tools to understand how they worked. This curiosity evolved into my professional philosophy: start with questions, not solutions. This foundation has guided me through my product design career, from scrappy startups to the structured environments of EY and Mattel, where I've transformed complex stakeholder needs into cohesive strategies that teams can rally behind.
My background has equipped me to break down complex problems and drive initiatives from concept to completion while keeping user needs central to every decision. I thrive when translating technical requirements into innovative, people-focused solutions.
Looking forward
I'm pursuing Technical Program Management roles where I can apply my user-centered design approach to manage complex initiatives. My goal is to leverage my experience in breaking down problems and aligning stakeholders to help transform how teams work together.
In my free time
I love learning new skills! Most recently, I have been wood-carving, experimenting with new recipes, wheel throwing, and playing the guitar. I also love talking about self-improvement, habits, psychology, and my passion for sticky notes.
